About the role: UW has been evolving, with digital transformation has come a new way of working, there was never a need to start again because what UW has built is almost impossible to replicate. With an invaluable blend of experience, technology,unique proposition and partner network we’re focussed on growth through innovation and enhancing the human element. There is a data revolution happening in modern sales organisations that parallels what happened to marketing departments over the last several years. Our sales organisation is 20 thousand strong and has largely been a self organising force to-date. The Partner team has been tasked with doubling UW's customer base over the next 5 years, incremental improvements are not going to cut it, we need to reimagine the Partner proposition and the Partner network. To meet this challenge we are making significant investments in Product, Data and Tech - including our first Chief Data Officer. We are seeking an exceptional candidate to head up our newly created Growth Opportunities (GO) team. The aim is to build a culture of experimentation and learning inside UW and lead a cross functional team of our top people in engineering, data science, and design. You'll be working horizontally across the product teams (experience, acquisition, performance) and functional areas (Marketing, Operations, Customer) to drive innovation, new products and new teams. The UW technology organisation is around 200 people and has a relaxed, friendly culture, it feels a lot like a well funded startup. UW uses OKRs to manage performance and you're judged on outcomes rather than output. Our office is based in Colindale and employees can work as flexibly as they desire.
