Habitual
Job description The world spends trillions treating the outcomes of type 2 diabetes, largely ignoring the underlying cause and only treating symptoms of the disease. Even with gold standard pharmaceutical treatment, people with type 2 diabetes continue to live at an elevated risk of life-altering complications and with generally very little knowledge about how to manage and treat the condition. We built Habitual to change this. We believe that pills and annual diabetes check-ups just aren’t enough, and that patients are ready to take their health into their own hands. We provide digital prediabetes and type 2 diabetes remission at scale by helping patients make lasting change to their nutritional, physical, and mental health. Our programme combines evidence-based nutritional strategies with digital therapeutics to be our patients’ lifelong partner in the journey to living longer, healthier, and happier. The role: As a direct-to-consumer health company helping people to make significant changes in their lives, our job as a marketing team is about so much more than selling a product. Driving success in growth at Habitual means truly understanding our patients, and using data, storytelling, and a deep understanding of online and offline behaviours to inspire people to change their lives for the better. We are looking for a skilled marketer to help us unlock growth opportunities across the marketing funnel, from the first touchpoint through to months (and one day years!) into our programme. Your day to day will likely include some of the following: Owning and optimising our paid acquisition funnel, from top of funnel adverts to website conversion metrics Leading A/B tests in the funnel and working with the appropriate colleagues on the marketing team to deliver tests in a timely and high-quality fashion Identifying opportunities for engagement or re-engagement using existing customer data and iterative testing. Working closely with our copywriter, graphic designer, and data analyst to come up with and implement new campaigns—from paid search to guerrilla marketing. Working with our cofounders to align on marketing budgets and plans. Helping to grow a best-in-class consumer marketing team in healthcare (very few have!) Job requirements: What we’re looking for: We believe that talented, humble people come from all walks of life, so we don’t care much about where you went to school or how many degrees you have. But we do care that you take pride in your work, care about the final outcome—and, importantly, that you absolutely love doing so. We also care a lot about building a delightful team that truly enjoys working together and is motivated by what we are building—so evidence of working well with others is highly valued. Our wish list for this role looks something like this: 3+ years experience in growth/marketing, preferably with a DTC company (not necessarily in healthcare!) Experience using Facebook and Google ads managers, and preferably some experience with (or interest in) other paid digital channels to experiment with: Demonstrated experience leading A/B testing of a marketing funnel; you can point to what moved the needle, and prioritise what to test. You have a deep respect for the importance of brand, and know how to ensure brand voice and style filters through into all marketing communications. You’re entrepreneurial; you don’t need direction; you're self driven. You’re organised, not ad hoc. You’re able to easily switch between thinking creatively and analytically
