A multi-channel food brand, Neat Burger is the first of its kind Ethical, sustainable and delicious, serving up plant-based burgers that are changing the world one bite at a time We need an ambitious candidate who can take the lead, and build a team for an aggressive, well capitalised, international roll-out plan. Reporting to the MD and founding partners, the Marketing Director will be responsible for the development, strategy and execution of all brand communications. This is a broad role covering a variety of marketing areas, so would suit a self-starting Head of Marketing, who has experience in hospitality, fast casual, or multi territory retail, eager to make a difference and progress in their career. You will be joining our team at an exciting time of growth, where our marketing strategy will play a key role in growing brand awareness and engagement within the UK and US market. The selected candidate will be expecte to build a team from the ground up. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a hands-on marketer with a drive for continuous improvement, be a fantastic content writer with experience in the full marketing mix, adapting your style to suit a range of audiences, excellent organisation skills and an analytical mind. We are looking for a candidate that has a balance between creativity & technical execution , who knows when to break the rules, and when to follow them. Key responsibilities: The Head of Marketing role is responsible for driving the business forward by implementing and developing various marketing strategies. Having developed an understanding of our customer base, you will manage our online and offline campaigns across owned channels and paid media, including email, PR, social, and other channels. You will work closely with our external agencies, so strong project management skills are key. Work closely with the director to create robust and effective marketing strategies Use expertise to create a strong brand for Neat Burger in the marketplace through social media management, website management and suitable PR and corporate communications. Responsible for managing social media platforms and delivering targeted social media campaigns. Manage and report on the Marketing budget on a monthly/weekly basis ensuring value for money and ROI. This will include advertising costs e.g. paid and organic search Work closely with external agencies to deliver digital marketing campaigns, eg SEO/PPC Deal with anything and everything creative Overseeing marketing team & traveling to new territories. Draft & approve press releases. Key requirements: Must be a foody. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing and related fields, ideally with experience in more than one territory (US, Europe & UK). Must have experience in hospitality, fast causal or a global retail brand. Experience working on multi-channel online (PPC, Social Media) and offline marketing campaigns A proven track record of delivering effective marketing multi-territory campaigns A forward thinker, both in terms of strategic planning but also with innovative creative ideas Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills Maintaining and developing a brand Comfortable dealing with high-profile ambassadors Excellent copywriting skills Google analytics, Google AdWords, e-marketing systems A great balance between creative and technical skills Ambitious & quick thinker - must be quick thinker
