As a company that is growing rapidly in the SMB market, marketing is our main channel of new leads and we need an inspirational Chief Marketing Officer to develop the long-term company marketing strategy, with an emphasis on achieving B2B sales growth, market penetration and cost-effective customer acquisition. Here’s a Bit More Information About The Role: This is a great opportunity to join our GTM Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the CRO, you’ll be responsible for: The development and implementation of a winning lead generation strategy Taking ownership of the business’ reputation and recognition; including brand, PR and communications Working closely with the Sales Team; enabling them to meet their objectives; Working closely with Product Team; to define marketing strategies for new and existing products Continual market reviews, consumer trends and the activities of competitors; Developing our partner marketing strategy; You’ll Thrive In This Role If You; Are data-driven problem solver who demonstrates deep knowledge of the business, industries served, and target buyers; Are an excellent communicator, persuasive, and collaborative; Are a role model for Pleo’s values; Are a process enabler who secures consensus across functions to drive efficiency and effectiveness; Are customer and market driven; Are a proven business leader with a deep understanding of growth strategies; Have a track record of successfully scaling marketing teams; Have experience of working with a high growth or scaling business having implemented a successful lead generation plan; Are innovative and flexible, you are all over the numbers and can adjust marketing tactics as the company scales; Have worked within a SaaS business selling to small and medium sized businesses; Are looking for a fresh challenge, prepared to roll your sleeves up, in a scale up you need to seamlessly move between the operational and strategic; Show me the benefits!; Flexible work: working from home when you want, where you want, why you want to (we trust you); Continual learning & development opportunities; Team camps around the world - remotes flown in (around once a quarter) for team building and learning (hurry up and apply already so we can bring you to the next one); Catered lunch; And here are some other nice gestures that we make:; 25 days holidays (annual); Loads of weird and wonderful niche communities to join in the company (we're talking guerrilla gardening, liquids tasting, the Pleo band, learning to code initiatives, that type of thing); A totally pain-free remote working/working from home policy; Wild enthusiasm and encouragement from us if you want to host MeetUps, events, etc - we'll help (venue, food etc); Working at Pleo means you're working on something very exciting: the future of work.
