Nash is a high growth FinTech startup that uses blockchain technology as infrastructure for the digital finance space. Nash lets users invest in, hold, trade and accept payments with digital currencies. Our products form an integrated financial services platform that is decentralized, including a revolutionary Digital Assets Exchange, Wallet (iOS and Android), Nash Cash (fiat on/off ramp) and Nash Link (crypto payments platform). Nash is an entirely remote company. We are interested in talent irrespective of location, and our setup allows for flexible hours and time management. Role Intro: As Head of Marketing at Nash, you will provide marketing leadership across all aspects of our product, community and business. You will guide our user acquisition and growth, our product marketing, our brand development and contribute a marketer’s perspective to product, technical and editorial decisions. In conjunction with company leadership, you will choose which strategy, tools and tactics to employ in order to achieve and report on our key marketing and company objectives. The primary initial goal will be to attract and retain users to Nash’s exchange and support the roll out of new Nash products including Nash Link and Nash Cash. In addition to marketing leadership, you will be a critical member of our cross-functional leadership team. You will work hand-in-hand with our CEO, engineering, BD, product and operations leadership to ensure that we are making solid business choices. You will communicate with leadership and the entire company -- as well as develop a process to communicate with our customers and users -- in order to ensure we are delivering the best products and experiences to the market. Your strategic thinking and business acumen will be valuable in this role. And your ability to convey your ideas publicly will be important, as Nash is a high profile organization that receives numerous requests for public appearances, knowledge sharing, and community interaction. As our Head of Marketing, you will… Oversee all marketing efforts including strategic planning, brand development, business development/partnerships, marketing channel development and external relationships with agencies. Drive company growth through various channels (paid, organic, etc.). Partner with stakeholders to communicate the marketing strategy and ensure alignment across functions and with the overall business strategy; Manage and grow a robust marketing team; Foster a high-performing marketing team to deliver on our investor growth goals and strategic marketing plan; As a member of the leadership team, provide strategic direction across all aspects of the business including product, client service, operations, etc.; Bring a strategic, analytical and data driven approach to decision making Track and report content and communications program results and metrics; We look for teammates who have….; The ability to develop a sophisticated growth and acquisition engine while simultaneously managing engagement and retention; Proven experience as a marketing leader at a high growth financial services, fintech company or cryptocurrency exchange; Demonstrated experience at successfully operating a new marketing function at an early stage company, or with a project that similarly raised funding from a community of token holders (e.g.. where the community around the token is an important part of marketing efforts); A keen understanding of the most important marketing technologies, channels and trends in order to make the most informed decisions; The ability to work within a growth company’s budget and KPI plan -- and to communicate across teams to ensure we are developing accurate plans and forecasts; A “can do” attitude, deep curiosity and strong strategic problem solver; A teammate with incredible marketing grounding, regardless of technical “credentials”, which we do not require.
