About the job: Head of Marketing (B2B SaaS Digital Health). Log my Care is one of the fastest-growing Care Software start-ups in the UK, having quadrupled its customer base since the pandemic began. Our mission is to digitise the social care sector (care homes and homecare agencies) and help hundreds of thousands of carers to provide a better quality of care to the UK’s most vulnerable people. The sector is over 60% analogue and paper-based, losing out on the many benefits technology can bring and we’re passionate about changing that with our awesome mobile App and Web-based tools that make delivering care far, far easier for hard-working carers. We’re making this happen by delivering the only freemium care management SaaS on the market and backing it up with a vibrant brand and digital-first approach to acquiring customers through our website with zero on-site sales or support. Our focus since inception has been on scalable digital reach and we see this still being the case even after a return to normality. Everything we create is built from the ground up to be open and accessible to care professionals, no matter their level of technological familiarity. Added to that, we place huge emphasis on design and usability, making our products really stand out from legacy software. Our mantra of “designed by Carers for Carers” has helped us to achieve rapid growth since we launched in 2018 and we are aiming to become the market leader and move the sector away from its dependence on paper. We are a team of 8 and are now looking to bring our marketing function in-house and for the right person to lead the department. Due to our success over the last year we're investing further in growth, so they will need to quickly build a great team under them. What you’ll be up to: Working directly with the founders (CEO, CTO), you’ll be someone who’s able to • Take ownership of, define and deliver the company’s branding and marketing strategies. • Analyse and report on the performance of different channels and campaigns. • Manage our growth rate and customer acquisitions costs carefully and attribute budget and resource to the best performing areas. • Manage a team of at least 2 marketing execs in 2021 with further expansion coming in 2022. • Brief freelancers and manage their deliverables closely. • Make sure our website is a top performer in CRO and design and continues to dominate SEO. The kind of person you’ll need will be: • Highly experienced and high-performing digital marketer (5+ years) • Ideally with startup experience and mindset to test and iterate quickly• Experienced directly managing £100k+ of marketing budget with proven ROI• Experienced managing a team, preferably having hired too. Be excited to grow a marketing team around you • Strategic thinker with an analytical and commercial mind, eager to help guide the direction of the company • Driven, ambitious and proactive • Have very strong breadth of knowledge of digital marketing with ideally broader experience across branding, email, partnerships, and content marketing• An eye for good design • Excellent verbal and written communicator • Interested (but not experienced) in the care sector and its modernisation • A digital native yourself, excited by tech and even more excited to work in a start-up that’s doing social good.
