At Artefact we’re looking for a strategic sales director for the UK with over 5 years of experience in BtoB marketing, preferably from a media agency, media owner or related technology business. With a strong historic and continuously growing contacts list you will have proven previous performance/results in delivering new business acquisition and growth. As the Growth & Strategy Director for the UK, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the client acquisition plan for the UK market. The job is based in our London office (current remote working in place). You will manage a highly organised sales & marketing assistant, providing direction and on the job training to them. Managing the complete sales pipe for the UK office you will have responsibility for the acquisition of new clients for the agency. Reporting to the Chief Client Officer you will also work closely with our dedicated channel leads, understanding for which opportunities and pitches each can be best utilised. A clear understanding of strategy and approach is also essential as you will be creating the outline approach for prospects (and involvement with some existing clients for growth opportunities) Core Role Function: Pitch & Strategy: You will be responsible for the sales process from start to finish (pipeline and initial contact, through to contract signing), at the closing stages this includes overall responsibility for pitch management including client/campaign strategy (working with channel experts) and bringing this to life (in the pitch deck) through your excellent capability of crafting the perfect pitch and ‘story-telling’ Marketing automation & Lead Gen: You manage marketing nurturing campaigns to fuel the sales pipeline with sufficient leads in our Pardot Marketing Automation tool (from the website, events/webinars, mailings, online advert, social media) to convert them into opportunities in our Salesforce CRM. Events and webinars’ planning: Deciding on the opportunities to seize on and promote through our webinar programme Supported by the marketing assistant your role is to design and drive whilst they organise and administer. Competencies required: Strong & proven sales skills Networking & relationship development Strong presentation skills – Creation and delivery Clear understanding of (the wider picture) of campaign strategy/ integrated marketing, addressing client challenges and opportunities in order to create on point pitch decks (+ strategy decks for existing clients).
